 By the time I met Dave, my wife and I had already worked with numerous agents and other real estate so-called ‘professionals’ over the prior weeks. We were selling our home, selling a rental home and hunting for a new home on our own. At this point, we had literally worked with five to six agents, if not more. None of them I was impressed with. They did their job, and left…they all lacked passion, spark, drive and motivation in my opinion – just a typical salesman. It was clear they wanted a sale and had no intention of investing in the ideas we wanted for a future home to live for decades.

 By blind chance, we ran across Dave as we were hunting for a house in Chesterfield. I didn’t give Dave much of a chance at first and figured he would be like the rest. I was wrong, 100%. Dave always came to the table prepared with extensive research, knowledge and strategy. He thinks four steps ahead. He understood exactly what we were looking for and the reasons why. If I wasn’t so far into the process with selling my other two homes (two separate agents because I wasn’t happy with either), I would have gladly let Dave sell both of mine. However, Dave and I focused on buying a new house. Once we zeroed in on the house we wanted, Dave worked his magic. He was aggressive, persistent, informative and remained in VERY close contact with me. If I sent him an e-mail at 1130 at night, it was not uncommon to get a reply within minutes, a text at 8 in the morning, etc. We knew very quickly that we had an advocate representing us with the largest purchase we would likely ever make.

 The partnership with Dave turned out to be invaluable as we were purchasing from a very difficult seller. Dave remained patient & persistent as we just pushed towards the finish line. I’m convinced that he chiseled every possible dime out from the purchase price. If we would have been fortunate enough for Dave to be our listing agent on the sales, I’m have no reservations knowing that he would have worked just as hard on that end. During our three transactions, we had many speed bumps, set-backs and delays. Dave was the consistent professional throughout the entire process who held it together. He was there with us all the way through closing, and even after.

 I have ZERO doubt that Dave saved us many thousands of dollars and without him, we would not be living in our dream home. All in all – if you are looking for a TRUE PROFESSIONAL who will work his tail off for you; you won’t go wrong with Dave Schott. "Realtor Dave Schott from Remax Edge Real Estate made the home buying experience and transition exciting rather than stressful. I will always be grateful for his patience, diligence, and professionalism. After receiving a transfer to St. Louis from my employer, I immediately began searching for a home.
